SW4TS Veteran - Quez4Real

As a dark cloud looms over the Atlanta rap scene this summer, a ray of hope can be found on Campbellton road. Quez4real doubles down on his unique style and bombastic personality with his latest project, SW4TS Veteran

“Don’t approach me like an artist,  I just make music” - F*ck Cupid

While Quez may shy away from being labeled an artist, his craftsmanship is obvious. True artistry is in the freedom to commit to limitless self-expression. Like an abstract painter, Quez approaches the canvas without overthinking, then conveys a boisterous stream of consciousness. The result is songs like Shhhh, where Quez quite literally whispers throughout, yet somehow executes a perfectly listenable sound.

Quez’s creativity shines from his caption-worthy wordplay to his innovate adlibs. His flow is effortless, and despite a tendency to get wordy, he always falls back into pocket. The production complements his daring cadences while the featured verses complement his boastful demeanor.

“I get racks to speak my life on the track this sh*t to easy” - No Stain

Despite his easy-going approach, Quez covers a wide range of topics on this project. Subtly blended with the fun lyrics are bars about everything from abandonment to trust issues. All the while, Quez is able to combine these sentiments into catchy melodies that are difficult not to rap along to. Songs like “Life’s Hard” and “Who Want it” show off his ability to make hooks that stick. Because of that, the future is bright for Quez and the rest of south west Atlanta.

“I was raised on Campbellton, this my territory” - Zack and Cody
